Fabulous Fringed Scarf

I started this Fabulous Fringed Scarf this afternoon and I am about 45% of the way done already - It is going pretty fast. I am using Lion Brand Trellis Yarn Rainbow Colorway (Pattern is for Caron Brand Fabulous Yarn) the starting chain used a K Hook and The rest is crocheted with a J.

I always seem to modify patterns to my liking - I think the pattern says to Crochet 102 for the starting chain I think I might have added an additional 20 chains to the starting. I didn't really count and I really don't think you necessarily have to anyways, I will make it as long as I want and as wide as I want. I will only be adding fringe to the ends not along the sides.

This is for my Manager's Girlfriend for Christmas, she is such a nice girl and I thought she would enjoy something hand-made. He already bought one of my coin purses for her for Valentine's day this year so I think she will enjoy the Scarf!

WIP: Snowflake Ornaments

I have a progress bar over to the right so I figured I would post a picture of the Ornaments I have done so far. I have 28 Completed out of the 99 in the book. I was thinking I would make all of the ornaments but I'm not quite sure if I will. There are some that are very intricate with beading and some multi-dimensional and I'm not quite sure if I will make those. I need to go through the pattern book and decide!

Anyways here is the picture of the Snowflakes

I used regular spray laundry starch to stiffen these snowflakes. I think they turned out great!
I will definitely post a picture as I get more finished and put on my tree!

WIP: 2-Strand Purpleghan

3-13: I've decided to bust some stash - I've got 24 ounces of each color: Lilac, Lavender, and Amethyst Red Heart Super Savers. I'm doing rows of 124 HDC, with 2 strands (of course).

Color Pattern:
3 rows Lilac
1 row Lilac/Lavender
3 rows Lavender
1 row Lavender/Amethyst
3 rows Amethyst
1 row Amethyst/Lilac

I'm on the 3rd pattern repeat (not too shabby for 2 Days)

3-16: I am almost through with 2 skeins of each color (+12 stash busting points)

3-18: Here's A New Picture! I'm on the 7th Pattern Repeat! I was thinking this was going to be a Horizontal Afghan But I have to say I like the Vertical Stripes!!! When I hold it Vertically it is a little taller than I am at 5'6".

Check out the finished product here!

WIP: Ripe Wheat Doily

I've decided I need to start a Doily!

I acquired a slew of Size 20 Ecru? Crochet Thread at a Thrift store a couple of months ago and I decided I should use some of it.

I've decided to make a "Ripe Wheat" Doily ( I figure it's only fitting since I live in KS, we have a Lot of WHEAT Around!) from a Vintage Coats & Clark's Doilies Booklet "Doilies in the Modern Manner"
I am on the 7th Round out of 18

WIP: Green Starghan

2-19: I've started another Starghan, this time in Paddy Green and Eggshell, it's for my Mom! She knows I'm making it so I'll go ahead and post pictures!

I'm already on row 11 I'm lovin' the way it looks so far, I'm using 2 strands WW yarn and an "N" hook

Update 3-7: I'm on Row 23 and still going strong, I've gone through about 5 Smaller skeins of Eggshell and I'm working on the 3rd bigger skein of paddy green! I just found a 1 pounder of Eggshell and I plan on finishing the Last Skein of Paddy green and I'll be through! Don't know how far I'll get! I'll post a new picture tomorrow!

WIP: Crochetville: Lumber Jack Flannel Crochet Along

I've decided to do another Crochet Along at Crochetville Personalize this Pattern CAL - Lumberjack Flannel

I've decided to make this in Burgundy & Light Sage to match my sofa (burgundy) and Recliner (light sage), I am going to start this when I finish my Starghan!

2-17: Well I've decided that I am going to do this as a Baby Afghan! I'm using Peach Baby Yarn and Baby Green! Reminds me of Sherbert!

This goes pretty fast, I've already got 1 strip and part of another done! Weeee!

2-19: I'm almost through with the 3rd strip, I should be done with it today.

WIP: Step-Dad's Soccer Ball

11-28-06: I've decided today that I want to make my Step-Dad a Soccer Ball Wall Hanging I've used Red for the Main Color and Black and White for the Ball! I've decided to use this pattern. I will probably have to outline in black because the lines are kind of messy! I ended up having to go back forth on the pattern in a worm like motion! Kind of confusing but I've made it work :)

Here is my progress so far! (3 hours work)

11-30-06: I'm half way done (with the front) I've decided to go ahead and make it a Pillow! :) I think it will be really cool! I can definitely tell it is a Soccer Ball :)

I've been working on the Soccer Ball Pillow for my SD and I am on Row 68 (out of 80) on the front. Then All I need to do is complete the Back and embroider "Chivas" on it :)
12-11-06: I've completed the soccer ball front of my SD's pillow and here is the picture. I think I've got a few more rows of red left on the top!
I will keep you posted on the progress

WIP: Granny Square Afghan

11-19-06: I've Started a Few Projects and haven't seemed to be able to finish them, I don't know if I just got bored or I got aggrivated and couldn't finish.
Here they are I would love to finish them, maybe someone can give me some words of encouragement!

Granny Square Afghan:

I need some help combining the squares, not sure exactly how to weave them together, I want a smoooooth surface no bumps, if that makes sense.

12-1-06:I decided I am just going to continue to make the Middle Granny Square Bigger instead of adding the Smaller squares around the outside Instead I Donated the Squares to Tiga at CrochetVille. Hopefully she'll have some use for them in her Comfortghans! I mailed the 16 of them off this afternoon!
