Update!

Well, holy geez a lot has happened in the last 9 Months! I cannot believe it has been that long since I have posted!
  1. I took over as Working Partner at my Sonic Drive-in!
  2. I am in the process of getting a divorce from my husband!
  3. I now have a Live-in girlfriend, yes I did say girlfriend, I can't deny the fact any more that I am gay.
  4. I moved into a town house apartment, believe my my 40 totes of yarn don't fit all that well, but I am going to make it work!

Nobody ever reads this blog I am sure, so it is probably pointless to post this on here but I figured I would post an update since it has been almost 9 months.

I am hoping to go through my stash of Yarn, Books, Hooks and Notions and get some things listed on eBay, but with working 50+ hours a week, having a girlfriend and trying to get my husband to let me see my son, its a bit much.

I love comments so if any one reads this leave me a message/comment!

Thanks,

Pamela

Discovered

I discovered 3 more totes of yarn this evening!
One of the totes had a bunch of Miscellaneous Yarn that I know I will never use so I donated it to the 2nd Chance Shop (Humane Society here in Kingman runs a shop and takes donations, whatever they sell is donated to Help the animals!) I earned 53 Stash-busting points!

I now have a total of 44 totes of yarn I need to get some new pictures taken, I re-re-organized them in numerical order. Here is a link to the original post on my stash.

Tote 32 is now empty

OT: Movies

I just thought it would be fun to post the movies I watch and what I thought of them.

Death Sentence - Really a good movie if you like the shoot em up kill em dead type o movies (I do sometimes) Has Kevin Bacon in it, which was a pretty good role for him.

Sunshine - An interesting movie to say the least - You have to watch it to know what I'm talking about. Has Cillian Murphy from "Red Eye" and Chris Evans from "Fantastic Four"

On another note I am attempting to stash bust for the Stash-Busting CAL at the Ville. SO far I am at +4 which is pretty good for me. I have not bought any yarn at all this year, doing good 2 weeks in.

Share a Square

I think this is a Fantastic idea and I really want to help out. This Link to This Eclectic Life shares all the details and the Pattern for the squares. As soon as I finish my scarf for Amy I will start making some squares.

Fabulous Fringed Scarf

I started this Fabulous Fringed Scarf this afternoon and I am about 45% of the way done already - It is going pretty fast. I am using Lion Brand Trellis Yarn Rainbow Colorway (Pattern is for Caron Brand Fabulous Yarn) the starting chain used a K Hook and The rest is crocheted with a J.

I always seem to modify patterns to my liking - I think the pattern says to Crochet 102 for the starting chain I think I might have added an additional 20 chains to the starting. I didn't really count and I really don't think you necessarily have to anyways, I will make it as long as I want and as wide as I want. I will only be adding fringe to the ends not along the sides.

This is for my Manager's Girlfriend for Christmas, she is such a nice girl and I thought she would enjoy something hand-made. He already bought one of my coin purses for her for Valentine's day this year so I think she will enjoy the Scarf!

WIP: Snowflake Ornaments

I have a progress bar over to the right so I figured I would post a picture of the Ornaments I have done so far. I have 28 Completed out of the 99 in the book. I was thinking I would make all of the ornaments but I'm not quite sure if I will. There are some that are very intricate with beading and some multi-dimensional and I'm not quite sure if I will make those. I need to go through the pattern book and decide!

Anyways here is the picture of the Snowflakes

I used regular spray laundry starch to stiffen these snowflakes. I think they turned out great!
I will definitely post a picture as I get more finished and put on my tree!
